  • Health Care Center
    By distributing various information in order to raise health awareness, and by conducting integrated specialized activities relating to healthcare management, the center strives to promote and maintain the healthcare management for the mental and physical health of students and teachers.

  • Research and Development Center for Teacher Education
    Whilst inheriting and building on their activities, the Research and Development Center for Teacher Education is the integrated product of the Research Center for Teaching Practice and the Research Center for Lifelong Learning. Along with investigating, researching, advising, and giving guidance on the problems faced by today's school education and local lifelong learning as a combined research development center for teacher-training and local education, the center promotes teacher-training innovation through teacher-training as well as in-service training program development together with functional development of school teachers and assorted enterprise projects/events on lifelong learning for local residents. This aims at improving and enriching school education, as well as advancing school teacher qualifications. Whilst contributing to the enrichment of local education, the center is designed to function as an open place of interaction for school teachers and local residents.
  • Information Processing Center
    As an intramural cooperative facility, the center contributes to the development of academic research and promotes information processing education at the university.

  • International Center
    The center provides educational guidance and advice to foreign exchange students and Japanese students who will study abroad.

  • National Mental Support Center for School Crisis
    On June 8, 2001, 23 children and teachers were either killed or wounded in an attack at Ikeda Elementary School, an affiliate school of the university. Due to the severity of the event, an extensive period of care is needed to deal with the mental suffering of the children, parents, and teachers.
    This center is a cooperative for all of Japan and was established as a research and educational facility to support the organizational and comprehensive activities that professionally deal with school crises, promote research in school crisis support, and is provided for teachers of national universities and people who work on the research of this field.

  • Center for Science Education
    This intramural research facility provides various scientific equipment for research and education to promote cooperative sharing.
