Western Carolina University staff visited from the US

A director from the International Exchange Center, Western Carolina University, Mr. Lois Petrorich-Mwaniki, and Mr. John Schweikart, who is a study abroad advisor, visited our university on February 28.

Three universities, including WCU from the state of North Carolina, and three universities from Western Japan, including our university, concluded a Consortium Agreement related to academics and exchange of students on July 7, 2006, and have been actively exchanging students every year since.

Their purpose for this visit was to visit institutions for receiving foreign students at our university and to strengthen our friendship. A brief explanation about our school was given by president Inagaki followed by an exchanging of opinions. Then they toured the facilities on campus, including the dormitory for foreign students after lunch.
