(1)The location of Osaka Kyoiku University
Osaka Kyoiku University is located on Osaka Line of Kintetsu
Railway at theborder between Osaka and Nara prefectures.
It takes about 25 minutes by "Junkyu" train from Uehonmachi, or
Tsuruhashi in Osaka City to "OsakaKyoikuDaiMae(Station)" by Kintetsu.

It takes 15 minutes on foot or by escalator
from OsakaKyoikuDaiMae(Station) to our campus.

There are two choices.
(a) In the university(3900(?)yen per night for one person)

There are no places to eat or buy meal inside or around the campus
except a CO-OP restaurant that does not serve meal in the evening.
If you want to have meal outside the campus you need to go to the
next station by train. When you come back, in order to reach your
room you have to climb up 400 steps on foot. Escalator is not
available after 7 p.m.

(b) Reserve a hotel room around Uehonmachi inside Osaka:

(i) Hotel Awina Osaka is recommended. This hotel is operated
by a public organizartion(Koritu Gakko Kyosaikumiai).

(4) Sight seeing

Horyu-ji(old temple) is not far from our University.

Around Yagi station of Kintetsu, there are many places to visit.
They originate to the 7th or 8th century. At that time,
it was the center of Japan.

Nara was a capital in the 8th century before Heian(Kyoto) era.
