Thank you for joining our class on June 30, 2000, Dr. Walker.

Dr. Walker spoke about his impression of Japanese Education after visiting a lot of schools in Japan. He sometimes spoke Japanese. It was very well like a Japanese spoke. Because I did not know he was the good speaker of Japanese, I was surprised very much.

Students were quite dedicated to talk about now and the future of the Japanese Education. They also asked him about the trends of the elementary education in US.

Shiozaki-san translated English to Japanese and Japanese to English elegantly. Thank you very much indeed. Thanks to her great idea to invite Dr. Walker to our class, we had a great time.

After the class, we had lunch at the co-op restaurant in the campus. He asked some students about their university life especially how to spend time after school and the usage of the cell phone.

Yasuko is busy taking note for the translation.

Yohsuke asked several questions.

She is the m.c. of the day.

Suddenly he started speaking in Japanese.

What we are talking about?

I wonder if I am a music teacher.

Our class begins 0930 on Friday and lasts until noon.

After the class, we eat lunch together at the restaurant of the University CO-OP.

We also have the mailing list, Netzemi, running by Mr. Shibata, one of the former students.

We talk about fruitful topics about Education in it as well as the procedure and the results of the class.

I am afraid it is only for the students attinding our class and the young OG/OBs.

Please join us freely.
